| Ghoules |
Ghouls are creatures of the underworld, which prefer to haunt the ancient ruins to which they appear to have a mysterious connection. It is said that they were once humans – evil humans who, after their (often violent) death, turned outwardly into the hideous monsters they were inside during their lifetimes.
Ghouls are agile, dangerous, and always hungry for meat; human flesh especially sets them slavering, and the sight of a bloody feast excites them into a feeding frenzy.
